The Conaire CDM 40 will accommodate ionisation sensor or photoelectric sensor. It is easy to clean and maintain since detector heads can be removed by simply
twisting-in, twisting-out of its housing. The CDM 40 samples air currents passing through the duct and accordingly gives control signals to fans, blowers and air conditioning systems through Conaire control Panel Model CDM 41 or Central Fire Alarm Panel and hence preventing spread of toxic smoke and fire gases
through the protected areas.

FEATURES OF CONTROL PANEL
HEAT DETECTION SYSTEM
The control panel has the provision for connections from a Duct Mounted Temperature Sensor (Pin No. 3 & 4). It automatically
triggers the actuator/A.H.U/warning signal once the temperature exceeds the specified value(165 degree F).
FAN INTERLOCKING SYSTEM
The control panel has the provision to PUT ON (when used in exhaust air) or SHUT OFF(when used in supply air) the A.H.U. fans from Pin No. 5 & 6. Switching is automatic.
WARNING SYSTEM
The control panel has the provision for connection to Fire Alarm Panel/ External Warning System (Pin No. 7 & 8 ) in the form of a loud alarm (audio signal) or a flasher (visual signal). Switching is automatic.

REMOTE TESTING SYSTEM
The Duct Smoke Detector/Heat Detection System/Actuator or Solenoid operated Smoke/Fire Damper can be tested periodically say once in a month as a preventive measure, with the help of a remote control panel provided with the control panel. Remote panel incorporates the visual indications for POWER, DAMPER STATUS and Warning System. The remote control has an inbuilt Sharp Alarm which sounds in case of Smoke/Heat Detection.
